The holes were made with scissors and eventually shaped with a reamer. The vent-hole is semicircular. The instrument is made from the cane with the use of billhook. A wooden stopper is inserted into the pipe opening.

By comparison with other instruments of the same builder it can be assumed that this instrument has not been completed, and that the master had the intention to create additional ornaments. Due to a poor choice of material, the pipe twisted over time.
