Description
Instruments that are not as numerically present in the collection in order to form a more separate entity were sorted under the common denominator "other instruments". This does not mean that they are less important or less used in different situations of musical performance in Istria. In this unit simpler instruments such as various pipes made from animal horns or tree bark and the ratchet are represented. In this unit there are also string instruments such as the bajs (smal double-bass), the violin and the tamburica-cindra from Ćićarija, the diatonic accordion and wind instruments like the clarinet and the bombardin, typical for the northern parts of Istria.
